What is Kuk Sool Wonä?

Kuk Sool Wonä is a total systematic study of Asian martial arts, specifically Korean.

 How old do you have to be?

Our classes are for everyone, 5 to 95.

 What if I am overweight, shy, aggressive, ADD, ADHD, out of shape, etc.?

No matter what your situation, our instructors and staff are here to help you to achieve your goals.

 How long does it take to get your Black Belt?

If you attend classes regularly (2-3 times per week) and practice at home, Black Belt can be achieved in 3-4 years.

 Do I have to spar?

Sparring is optional, although we encourage it.  Sparring at Kuk Sool Wonä of Pasadena is   non- to light contact, stressing self-control.

 What if I have to choose between martial arts and baseball, basketball, etc. for my child?

Although all outside activities are potentially good for your child, Kuk Sool Wonä and sports are non-interchangeable.  Kuk Sool Wonä of Pasadena has no “Star” players or benchwarmers.  We teach character realignment and etiquette.  Martial Arts is about doing the right thing at the right time regardless of how we feel about it.

 When can I enroll?

Kuk Sool Wonä of Pasadena has open enrollment.  You can enroll at any time.

 How much does it cost?

Each month we offer an introductory special, which includes a FREE UNIFORM.  We have many programs available.  Our professional office staff will be happy to help you decide which one will be the right one for you.

When and how often do I have to come to class?

We encourage you to attend 2-3 classes per week.  Classes are scheduled Monday through Thursday and also on Saturday.  We can arrange a schedule to fit your personal needs.

 How do I know if Kuk Sool Wonä of Pasadena is the right school for me?
